Fourth of July Fireworks

Yes we are open on July 4th, 2008.  We will be open from 6pm-10pm.  We have limited seating in our parking lot for the fireworks.  We will open seating to the customers who buy a bottle of wine.  We will also have hot dogs and chips for $2.00 per person.  

Indy Wine Trail Weekend

Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, July 20th  from 12 to 6 will be the next Indy Wine Trail Weekend.  Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 day of.  With your ticket you will receive a mini barbecue meal and glass of wine at each of the seven Indy Wine Trail wineries.  Call us to reserve your tickets today.  1-317-705-9463

  Swiss Wine Festival

August 22nd, 23rd and 24th we will be in Vevay, Indiana at the Swiss Wine Festival.   This is a huge three day event in southern Indiana.  For a $12.50 ticket you can do all the wine tasting you would like.  With your ticket you also receive an etched glass to do tastings with.   Wine tasters are also encourage to vote for their favorite wines to win medals.  www.swisswinefestival.com

Wine 101 Series Classes

Wine 101 series classes, will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about wine.  In the first class, learn to taste wine like a pro.  The second class teaches you about the basics of food and wine pairing.  The third class will take you beyond tasting and pairing, what’s next?  Learn about purchasing, storing and serving wine.  Also learn about wine faults, what they are, how to avoid them and what to do about them.

Classes can be taken individually or as a series.  The classes will be repeated in March, April, May, September, October and November, please check our website for dates.  The classes will be on Tuesdays each week from 6pm to 8pm.  There are 16 seats available for each class, on first come first served basis. 

The first class is $25 per person.  The second class is $30 per person, and the third class is $25 per person.  Sign up for all three classes at once and receive a 10% discount.  Sign up as a couple and receive a 5% discount.  So sign up as a couple for the series for only $136.

The first class, Tasting Wine Like a Pro, includes free wine sampling and a logo tasting glass from the winery.  The second class, The Basics of Food and Wine Pairing, includes free wine sampling and food.  The third class, Beyond Food and Wine Pairing, What’s Next? Includes free wine sampling. Reserve your seats now, as seating is limited.
